Whether you’re leaning forward to savour the subtleties of performance, place, and sonic space, or merely leaning back to casually enjoy the music, Summertime in Leith makes you feel as if you’re in a picturesque Ontario hamlet, on a balmy midsummer evening, sitting in the middle of a jewel-like sanctuary of an historic Canadian church, surrounded by local folk engrossed in an impromptu performance by two jazz musicians who want nothing more than to share in the exhilaration of the moment.
